 JKS welcomes its latest addition in Sensei Gerry Kane. Gerry has over 20 years of experience teaching karate. His club is based in Tyrrelstown in Dublin. Welcome Osu!

 

 

 Japan Trip 2012

Congrats to the 14 members of JKS GB and Ireland who recently went on the annual trip to Japan. Always a highlight of the year for everyone who goes. Training took place at many Dojo's including the JKS Hombu Dojo in Toyko as well as with Yagi Sensei, a senior of Kagawa Sensei, Inada Sensei JKS Hombu Dojo instructor and Sato Sensei who is Chief Instructor of Hokkaido at their respective Dojo's. A great time was had by all. The annual trip is a unquie way to experience Japan culture and train with some amazing instructors. 

 

 

Technical Seminar and Grading

Well done to all who trained and passed their grading on the Technical Seminar today. Great classes thaught by Sensei Paul Giannandrea JKS Scotland as well as Scott Langley, Palma Doshi and John Shanahan Sensei's of Hombu Dojo JKS Ireland. 200+ Karateka trained and graded over the course of the weekend. An excellent turnout as always. OSU!

 

 JKS Ireland's Newest Full Time Dojo! - TANDEN DOJO

A big congratulations to Alan Smith Sensei of Midland's Shotokan Karate Clubs who has opened a full time dojo in Longford, Co. Westmeath. JKS Ireland would like to wish him all the best for the venture - with an already strong student base, we are sure it will be a huge success!

JKS GB & Ireland are now proud leaders of any professionally run karate organisation. We now have SEVEN full-time, professionally run Karate Dojos within our group! And there are more planned!
